How to Prepare

  • βœ“Have referral paperwork from your primary veterinarian ready. This can be submitted beforehand or brought to your appointment.
  • βœ“For diagnostic appointments, your pet should be fasted from all food and water after 10 PM the night before your appointment.
  • βœ“If your pet is diabetic, please let us know beforehand so we can advise on adjustments to fasting requirements.
  • βœ“Chemotherapy consultations do not require fasting.
  • βœ“Know all medications your pet is currently taking so we can make appropriate adjustments if necessary.

During Your Visit

  • β†’Diagnostic consultations last approximately 20–30 minutes.
  • β†’Chemotherapy consultations last approximately one hour.
  • β†’All diagnostic appointments are scheduled in the morning to allow time for diagnostics and testing.
  • β†’If you wish to proceed with diagnostics or chemotherapy, we will ask you to leave your pet with us for part of the day.
  • β†’We will call you as soon as we are done, and you can pick up your pet at your convenience before 5 PM.
